All Punjab boards are set to declare the Inter (HSSC) Part-I annual result on 22 October 2026. Here is the announcement time, and every way to check your result online.
First-year intermediate students across Punjab have an exact date to watch this month: the Inter Part-I (HSSC Part-I, also called 11th class or 1st year) annual result for 2026 is scheduled to be declared on 22 October 2026 at 10:00 AM, across all Punjab boards including BISE Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, DG Khan, and Bahawalpur.
This follows the same pattern as the rest of this year's Punjab board calendar: 2nd year (Part-II) intermediate results were declared on 23 September 2026, a month ahead of Part-I. Boards typically release Part-II before Part-I because second-year students need their results sooner for university and entry-test admission cycles, while first-year students simply move on to 2nd year classes regardless of exact result timing.
How to check your Inter Part-I result
Once the result is declared, Punjab boards make it available through several channels:
- Online by roll number: the primary method, through your specific board's official result portal (for example biselahore.com for BISE Lahore candidates).
- Online by name: available as a backup if you have lost your roll number slip, on the same board websites.
- SMS service: most Punjab boards run an SMS result service where you text your roll number to a designated short code and receive your result and marks directly.
- Gazette: a downloadable PDF listing results for all candidates by roll number, usually published alongside the online portal on result day, useful if the individual-lookup page is slow under heavy traffic.
Because millions of students across all Punjab boards check results in the same narrow window right after the 10:00 AM announcement, official websites frequently slow down or time out in the first hour. If the main portal is unresponsive, the SMS service or your board's gazette PDF are usually faster alternatives on result day itself.
What to do once your result is out
An Inter Part-I result does not by itself open any admission doors — unlike Part-II, it is not the result universities use for Fall intake decisions. Its main purpose is to confirm you have cleared first-year subjects and can continue into Part-II (2nd year) without a compartment or repeat. If you see a subject marked as failed or a grade you were not expecting, check with your college and your board's examination branch about the process and deadline for applying for a rechecking of your answer sheet — boards typically allow this only within a short window after the result is announced, so do not wait if you plan to request one.
Students who clear Part-I should also hold on to their result card or gazette entry, since some boards ask for it later when compiling the combined Part-I and Part-II marks for your final intermediate certificate.
