Different learning programs and practical experiences at the department promote professional growth in social obstetrics knowledge. The program delivers specific training programs about prenatal and intrapartum and postnatal healthcare which focuses on reaching out to communities and preventive healthcare measures. The department offers three types of programming which combine classroom education with direct practical sessions through workshops and certificate courses and field training programs. Through the program participants develop abilities for patient risk evaluation and counseling and nutritional care as well as obstetric emergency management. Research collaborations together with innovation projects enable students to gain better learning experiences through innovative efforts.
