COAVS provides a broad spectrum of vision sciences and ophthalmology programs. The undergraduate programs involve a four-year BSc (Hons) Vision Sciences, which has specializations in Optometry, Orthoptics, and Investigative Ophthalmology. Postgraduate opportunities involve MPhil programs for the above-stated specializations. The college also offers diploma programs like the Ophthalmic Technician Training Course (OTTC) and Ophthalmic Nursing. For doctors, COAVS provides fellowships in Vitreoretina and Pediatric Ophthalmology, as well as short courses in diagnostic ophthalmology and laser use. COAVS has spanking new facilities, such as refraction and low vision clinics, that are fully equipped with sophisticated diagnostic equipment for improving practical training.
