The Government technical training centre (DMTC) teaches training courses in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering civil engineering and auto mechanics . The centre mainly offers programs that are diploma of associate engineer (DAE) and short term Industrial recognized certifications . They are intended to prepare student for technical vocations that are desirable in areas like construction, manufacturing, electricity generation, and auto mechanics. Practical workshop, industrial training and field work are incorporated into the curriculum to ensure the qualitative nature of the program and meet the expectation of employers. It also carries out training and production based specialised courses necessary for general upgrading of skills in compliance with modern industry requirements which includes computer applications, technical drawing etc. Govt.
