The school was then incented as a non-residential English medium institution, on the pattern of a public school. Encouraged by its superb overall performance, this school was upgraded to intermediate level in 1975. It was then elevated to a Degree College in 1985 and was affiliated with the University of the Punjab. Recently I. C. B got another feather in its cap. The University of the Punjab granted permission to start B. Com classes. Since its inception in 1966, I.C.B has relentlessly struggled to scale the peaks in the domains of curricular and extracurricular activities and has successfully its tally of achievement to data.
