The Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College, Sialkot is one of the premier public medical universities in the province of Punjab in Pakistan and in the country itself; it was founded to meet the demand for education and training of competent medical practitioners. Established with the name of an influential politician it has grown rapidly to the status of a college. KMSMC is associated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore and approved by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). The college has a mission of graduating competent health care personnel fit to practice in the health facilities. The Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College starts the high five-year MBBS program, which gives a good base in every aspect of medical care. The courses are quite challenging and include both the theoretical component and the clinical practice.
