The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan is hiring Analysts for Personal Income Tax to analyze existing tax laws and draft proposed amendments and legal notes for Director-level review, analyze budgetary proposals from stakeholders, review tax incentives and exemptions for legal necessity and economic rationale, support tax gap analysis, tax expenditure analysis and cost-benefit analysis of proposed tax changes, analyze court rulings for tax policy input, and perform other tasks assigned by the Director General and Directors. Candidates need good knowledge of Pakistani tax laws (especially non-corporate tax filings), research, data analysis and financial analysis skills (including advanced Excel and Power BI or similar tools), clear technical drafting ability and strong presentation skills.
