NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, invites applications from Pakistani nationals domiciled in Sindh Province for two Teaching Contractual posts in the Department of Urban & Infrastructure Engineering: 1. Assistant Professor: Candidates must hold a PhD and Master's degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in the Master's degree and no 3rd division throughout their academic career. Preference given to candidates with a PhD specialization in Railway Engineering, Transportation Engineering (with a focus on Railways or Mass Transportation), or demonstrated research publications in relevant fields. 2. Lecturer: Candidates must hold a Master's degree or equivalent (after 18 years of education) in the relevant field, with a first division/CGPA of 3.00 in all degrees and no 3rd division throughout their academic career. Preference given to candidates with a Master's specialization in Railway/Transportation Engineering or research publications, and a clear research plan with commitment to pursue a PhD in Railway Engineering. Maximum age limit is 35 years, relaxable for Government/Semi-Government/University employees applying through proper channel. A 5% Minority/Differently-abled quota will be observed.
