The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has opened candidate registration for the Chief Minister IT Internship Programme (CMITIP), a government-funded paid internship placing shortlisted candidates with IT companies across Punjab. More than 4,000 shortlisted candidates will be placed with over 350 IT companies for a four-month internship. Interns are paid a stipend of PKR 50,000 per month, subject to performance and submission of an HEC-verified degree. Eligible applicants must hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline completed within the last four years, and must have a valid CNIC and Punjab Domicile.
