The Deputy Director (Financial Analyst) will support the Ministry of Railways through financial modelling for Pakistan Railways and its development initiatives, including scenario analysis. Responsibilities include establishing standard costs, collecting operational data to determine operating costs, comparing actual results with plans and forecasts to assess financial status, setting cost-analysis policies and procedures, providing trends, forecasts and recommendations, recommending ways to improve financial indicators, maintaining databases of cost items and performance data, and other tasks assigned by the competent authority.
