Nexus Academy UK, an online tutoring company, is hiring part-time remote tutors to deliver one-to-one GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level lessons to students in the UK across subjects including Maths, Further Maths, the sciences, English, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Accounting, Psychology, Sociology, History, Geography, Religious Studies and Modern Languages (French, Spanish, German). The company handles student matching and administration. Responsibilities: teach one-to-one online lessons in your subject(s); plan lessons around the exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE) and learning needs; log every lesson through the tutor portal; maintain a professional relationship with students and parents; attend an onboarding training session. Requirements: subject knowledge to GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level standard, previous teaching or tutoring experience (online experience a plus), familiarity with UK curricula and exam boards, excellent spoken English, reliable internet, a laptop and a quiet teaching space, and availability roughly 4-9pm UK time. PGCE, QTS, or a relevant subject degree is a plus. Pay is hourly, agreed upfront.
