The Punjab Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122) has announced 239 temporary, project-based vacancies based in Lahore (Rescue 1122 Headquarters, the Emergency Services Academy, and District Lahore). Positions include Emergency Officer (Medical) - 5 posts, MBBS with valid registration, age 24-32; Hostel Warden (Female) - 1 post, Bachelor's or 14 years of relevant education, age 24-35; Assistant Hostel Warden (Female) - 1 post, Bachelor's or 14 years of relevant education, age 22-30; Attendant (Female) - 4 posts, Matric with housekeeping certificate, age 22-35; Fire DERT Rescuer - 28 posts, relevant DAE diploma, age 20-30; Emergency Medical Technician - 92 posts, nursing or paramedical degree/diploma, age 20-30; and Rescue Driver (LTV) - 108 posts, Matric with valid LTV licence, age 20-30. A 5% quota is reserved for minorities and 15% for women; applicants may apply for only one position. Selection involves written, psychological, physical and skill tests, followed by interviews, medical fitness and document verification. These appointments are temporary/project-based and do not confer a right to permanent employment.
