The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan is hiring a Tax Lawyer to draft provisions of various statutes in the Finance Bill and convert budget proposals into legal provisions that achieve tax policy goals. The role involves keeping tax statutes consistent with each other, with other laws, and with the Constitution; advising on the structure, wording and implications of proposed fiscal measures; supporting the defense of tax amendments challenged in court on constitutional grounds; coordinating with the Law & Justice Division for formal vetting; and other tasks assigned by the Director General and Directors.
