Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended the deadline for continuing students to complete their course enrollment for the Autumn 2026 semester, giving them until October 19, 2026, to finish the process. The extension applies specifically to students already enrolled in the university's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs who need to register their courses for the current semester. It does not apply to students submitting fresh admission applications, which follow a separate schedule and deadline. According to the university, the extension was approved on the direction of the Vice Chancellor, intended to give continuing students additional time to complete their registration without disruption to their academic progress. Students covered by this extension are required to complete their enrollment through AIOU's Campus Management System (CMS) portal. The university has urged all eligible students to register before the new deadline to avoid complications with their semester registration.
