COMSATS University Islamabad's Lahore campus is accepting HEC Need-Based Scholarship applications for Fall 2026 undergraduates, with forms due October 15.
COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, has opened applications for the HEC Need-Based Scholarship (NBS) Program for undergraduate students enrolled in the Fall 2026 semester, with a submission deadline of October 15, 2026.
The scholarship is open to students who were admitted on open merit and who meet the program's financial-need criteria. Students admitted under self-finance arrangements are not eligible to apply. Even among eligible applicants, awards are not guaranteed: they depend on the funding available to the university and on review by CUI Lahore's Institutional Scholarship Award Committee.
Selected recipients receive financial assistance toward their university fees in line with HEC's rules for the program, along with a monthly stipend of Rs. 6,000 to help cover living costs. The Higher Education Commission disburses these funds through the university rather than paying students directly.
The application process has two steps. Students must first complete an online data-entry form, and then submit a printed copy of that form, along with supporting documents, to the Students Financial Aid Office at the CUI Lahore campus. Required documents typically include academic records, CNIC copies, proof of domicile, utility bills, income proof, and family details establishing financial need.
Students interested in applying have only a few days left before the October 15 cutoff and are advised to complete both the online and hard-copy submission steps well ahead of the deadline.
