The Dalda Foundation Trust has opened its 2026-27 Scholarship and Student Development Programme, offering need-based support to intermediate, vocational and university students across Pakistan until November 13.

The Dalda Foundation Trust has opened applications for its Scholarship and Student Development Programme for the 2026-27 cycle, offering need-based financial and training support to students from low-income families across Pakistan. Applications opened on October 12, 2026, and will close on November 13, 2026. The programme runs two main tracks. The Professional Education track is open to students who are Pakistani residents, including those from Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, who are under 19 years old and have been admitted to Intermediate Part I at an eligible public-sector institution. To qualify, applicants need at least 70 percent marks in streams such as ICS, Arts or Home Economics, or at least 80 percent for medical, engineering or general science streams. Applicants must belong to urban households living on a plot of no more than 120 square yards, with a parent or guardian's monthly income not exceeding Rs. 70,000. The Vocational and Technical Training track is aimed at students admitted to an eligible government or government-approved training programme lasting between six months and two years, with preference given to courses that lead directly to employment. Eligible fields include digital and future skills, technical trades, retail and services, hospitality, health-related trades, and agriculture and livestock. Applicants need at least 50 percent marks in Matric and must meet the same household size and income conditions as the professional education track. A separate category exists for children of workers employed by partner organisations. Under this category, students in professional education must be enrolled from Grade 8 onward with at least 50 percent marks in Matric, while a slightly higher household income limit of Rs. 90,000 per month applies to both the professional and vocational tracks in this category. Benefits under the professional education track include financial support toward education costs, along with counselling, mentoring, skills training and character-building components, though the Foundation has not disclosed a specific stipend amount or the total number of scholarships available this cycle. Selection follows a multi-step process: applicants first submit an online form, after which those who meet the eligibility criteria sit a written assessment conducted by the Foundation. This is followed by academic and financial verification, and shortlisted candidates are then called for an orientation session before final selection is confirmed. The Foundation has clarified that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an award, and shortlisted applicants will be contacted by email. Interested students must apply online through daldafoundation.pk, as the Foundation does not accept manual applications, and must submit supporting documents attested by their institution's principal. Students with questions can contact the Foundation through WhatsApp at 0331-1200897 or by calling (021) 35850942, extension 385, during office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
