Female students claimed all three overall top positions in BISE Rawalpindi's Intermediate Annual Examination 2026, led by Atfa Javed of Punjab College for Women with 1,156 marks.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has declared the results of its Intermediate Annual Examination 2026, with girls taking all three of the overall top positions among the board's candidates. BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Prof Dr Iqbal Mehmood announced the top position holders on a Tuesday, ahead of the full results being released the following day. Atfa Javed of Punjab College for Women, Satellite Town, topped the board with 1,156 marks, followed by her classmate Noor Fatima Sajid, who secured second place with 1,151 marks. Third position was shared between Nabiha Iman of Punjab College, Talagang, and Muneeb Shah of Punjab College, Satellite Town, each scoring 1,142 marks — making Muneeb Shah the only boy among the top three. Across individual groups, Atfa Javed also led the pre-medical girls' category, while Nabiha Iman topped pre-engineering among girls. In general science, Sana Maryam of Superior College for Girls, Fatehjang, scored 1,140 marks to take first place, and in commerce, Aneeqa Yasmeen and Sara Khan jointly placed first among girls with 1,086 marks each. The strong showing by female students across multiple subject groups reflects a continuing trend of girls outperforming their peers in the Rawalpindi board's intermediate examinations this year.
