BIEK announced Inter Part-I Pre-Engineering results for 2026 under a revised grading system, with about 43% of candidates clearing all six papers.
The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations for the Intermediate Part-I Science Pre-Engineering group, under the supervision of Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho and Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid.
Of the 15,044 candidates who registered for the examinations, 14,683 actually appeared. Among them, 6,310 candidates cleared all six papers, while the rest cleared varying numbers of papers: 79 passed five papers, 747 passed four, 1,827 passed three, 1,864 passed two, and 1,783 passed just one paper. Based on these figures, roughly 43 percent of candidates who appeared passed all six papers outright.
This year's results were issued under a revised grading framework adopted following decisions by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission and Sindh's Universities and Boards Department. Under the new system, any candidate scoring less than 40 percent marks in an individual paper is declared "ungraded" for that paper and must retake it, provided they otherwise meet eligibility requirements, rather than failing the group outright.
Students can check their individual results through BIEK's official result channels. The results are expected to help successful candidates move ahead with further studies in engineering, technology, and related disciplines.
