Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Higher Education Department has opened online admissions to Intermediate Part-I in government colleges, with merit lists to follow on the admission portal.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department has opened admissions to Intermediate Part-I for the 2026 academic session at government colleges across the province, with the entire process being handled through an online portal. Students wishing to apply must first create an account on the official admission portal. The system is designed to automatically pull a candidate's academic record from their education board; if a record is not found, students can enter their details manually instead. After academic information is confirmed, applicants proceed to fill in personal details and then select the government colleges and programs they wish to be considered for. A processing fee must be paid to complete the application, which can be done through JazzCash. The department has instructed students to confirm their payment on the portal before finalizing submission. Once a form is submitted, applicants can track its status directly through their account on the same portal. The Higher Education Department has not published specific dates for the close of applications or the release of merit lists, saying only that merit lists will be posted online once ready. Students are advised to check the portal regularly for updates. For support, the department has set up a helpline at 091-9214110, available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Applicants are urged to carefully review all details before submitting their forms, since errors could affect their placement on college merit lists.
