NASTP's Institute of Vocational Training in Kharian is accepting applications for its second batch of a two-year EASA-approved aircraft maintenance programme, with scholarships and free accommodation on offer.

The National Aerospace Science and Technology Park's Institute of Vocational Training (NIVT) in Kharian has opened admissions for the second batch of its two-year Aircraft Maintenance Licensing Programme, offering students a path into a globally recognised aviation career. The course is an EASA Part-147 approved Basic Course covering maintenance categories B1.1 and B2, delivered under approval number IT.147.0016 from Italy's civil aviation authority, ENAC. NIVT describes itself as the only training organisation in Pakistan to hold this EASA Part-147 approval, and the programme is run in partnership with the Italian aviation company Flyon Aero. Candidates must have completed FSc or A-Levels (or an equivalent qualification) and be between 16 and 25 years of age. The institute is open to both male and female applicants. Admission is merit-based and decided through an entry test covering Mathematics, Physics, English and Logical Reasoning. Selected students will also be offered merit-based scholarships along with free accommodation, lowering the cost of pursuing the internationally recognised certification. Applications must be submitted online through the National Testing Service website, www.nts.org.pk, where candidates can also download the required fee challan of Rs 500. Payment can be made through various channels including 1Link, ATM, internet banking, mobile banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash or TCS Express. The application window closes on 4 October 2026, after which shortlisted candidates will be scheduled for the entry test.
