NASTP's Institute of Vocational Training has opened applications for the second batch of its two-year EASA-approved aircraft maintenance licensing course at Kharian, with scholarships and free accommodation on offer and an October 4 deadline.

The NASTP Institute of Vocational Training (NIVT) has opened admissions for the second batch of its two-year Aircraft Maintenance Licensing Program at its Kharian campus. The course is delivered in partnership with Italy's Flyon Aero, under EASA Part-147 approval (approval number IT.147.0016) granted by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, ENAC. NIVT describes itself as the only EASA Part-147 approved training organization currently operating in Pakistan. The two-year basic course covers two aircraft maintenance licensing categories: B1.1, for aeroplane turbine aircraft, and B2, for avionics. The program is open to both male and female candidates between the ages of 16 and 25 who hold an FSc, A-Levels, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants must sit an entry test covering Mathematics, Physics, English and Logical Reasoning. To apply, candidates must visit the National Testing Service website, complete the online application form, and pay a 500 PKR application fee either through an NTS fee challan or via EasyPaisa, before sitting for the entry test. The application deadline is October 4, 2026. NIVT has also announced merit-based scholarships along with free accommodation for selected students, though the notice does not specify the number of scholarships available or what portion of fees they cover. This marks the institute's second intake for the program, following its first batch already underway at NASTP Rawalpindi.
