The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has opened registration for Series-1 of the NUST Entry Test (NET) for undergraduate admissions to its Fall 2027 intake. According to the university's admissions portal, online registration for this series opened on October 4, 2026, and will remain open until November 14, 2026. The computer-based test itself is scheduled to begin on November 17, 2026, and will be held at the NUST campus in Sector H-12, Islamabad. Most undergraduate programmes under this intake will begin in September 2027, though the Aerospace and Avionics Engineering programme at the College of Aeronautical Engineering is set to start in October 2027. Programmes open for admission span several faculties, including Engineering and Technology, Computing and Information Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural and Applied Sciences, Business Studies and Social Sciences, and Architecture and Design, as well as LLB. To apply, prospective students must first check the eligibility criteria for their chosen programme on the NUST website, then register and submit their application online through the university's undergraduate admissions portal. After submitting the application, candidates must print a fee invoice and pay the test processing fee through the 1Link payment system. The university is also offering a fee concession for high-achieving students: applicants who held first, second, or third position in their HSSC board examinations may be exempted from the processing fee, provided they email proof of their position from their board to the Admissions Directorate. Students intending to apply for need-based financial assistance have been advised that scholarship applications must be submitted before the registration deadline closes. NUST is one of Pakistan's largest and most competitive universities for engineering, computing, and business education, and its entry test results are also used by some other institutions for admission decisions. Students are encouraged to confirm programme-specific requirements directly on the official admissions portal before applying.
