The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has pushed back the Class 11 admission deadline after delays in matric result cards left many students unable to register on time.
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has extended the admission deadline for Class 11 (first-year intermediate) students, giving them more time to register after delays in the release of matric result cards and document verification created a bottleneck for incoming students.
Under the revised schedule, students can now submit their admission forms without any late fee until October 12, 2026, an extension from the original October 5 cutoff. Students who still need more time can submit applications during a late window running from October 13 to October 27, 2026, by paying a surcharge of Rs 600 on top of the regular admission fee.
The committee said the extension was prompted directly by feedback from regional boards, who reported that delayed matric result cards and slow document-processing were preventing eligible students from completing their admissions on schedule. Officials warned that without this relief, some students risked losing an academic year or facing unnecessary late fees through no fault of their own.
Students who had already paid the late fee between October 6 and October 9, before the extension was announced, will have that amount refunded through their respective boards' standard procedures.
The revised timeline applies across all nine Punjab boards of intermediate and secondary education, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Bahawalpur, and covers admissions at both public and private intermediate colleges in the province.
Students can apply either online or in person through their chosen college's admission office, submitting their matric mark sheet, a copy of their B-Form, and photographs along with the application.
