The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has pushed back the first-year (Class 11) admission deadline, giving regular students until October 12 to apply without a late fee.
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has extended the admission deadline for first-year (Class 11) regular students enrolling in the 2026-2028 academic session, giving applicants additional time to complete their college admissions.
Under the revised schedule, students can now submit their admission forms without a late fee until October 12, 2026, an extension from the original cutoff of October 5. For those who miss that window, a late submission option remains available with a Rs. 600 late fee, and that deadline has also been pushed back, from October 20 to October 27, 2026.
The committee, which coordinates admission and examination schedules across Punjab's intermediate boards, issued the revised schedule to accommodate students who had not yet completed their applications ahead of the original deadlines.
Students applying for first-year admissions in Punjab are advised to submit their forms through their respective board's admission process as soon as possible to avoid the late fee, and to confirm submission details directly with their college or board, since admission procedures can vary slightly between institutions.
