UHS has opened centralized MBBS applications for 34 private colleges offering about 4,500 seats, with the deadline set for November 6.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), which runs centralized admissions for Punjab's private medical and dental colleges, has opened applications for the 2026-27 session. The process covers 34 private medical colleges with roughly 4,500 MBBS seats and 18 private dental colleges offering about 1,100 BDS seats. MBBS applications opened on October 23 and will close on November 6, with the first selection list to be published on November 18. The dental admission cycle follows later, with BDS applications opening on December 18, 2026 and closing on January 1, 2027, and the first BDS selection list due on January 13. Candidates from all provinces, as well as overseas Pakistanis who meet the eligibility criteria, can apply. Merit is calculated using a weighted formula: 10 percent from matriculation or its equivalent, 40 percent from FSc pre-medical or its equivalent, and 50 percent from the MDCAT entry test. Applicants need a minimum of 60 percent marks in FSc pre-medical, along with at least 55 percent in the MDCAT for MBBS and 50 percent for BDS to be considered eligible. Applications for MBBS are being submitted through UHS's dedicated private-college admission portal, with a separate portal for BDS applicants. UHS has advised prospective students to compare fee structures, campus locations, and facilities across the participating colleges before submitting their choices, since all merit lists and selection results will be published on the university's website. Candidates who are offered a seat will have three days to pay their fees and formally join their college.
