The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has extended the late-fee admission deadline for Class 11 students to October 27, 2026, giving first-year students more time to register.

Students in Punjab applying for Class 11 (first year) admissions have been given extra time to complete their registration after the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) revised the admission schedule for the 2026-2028 session. Under the updated timeline issued on October 9, 2026, the deadline for submitting admission forms without a late fee moved from October 5 to October 12, 2026. Students who still need more time can submit their forms with a late fee of Rs. 600 until October 27, 2026, a full week later than the previously announced cutoff of October 20. The PBCC's revision also addresses students who had already paid the late fee under the earlier schedule. According to the committee, these students will be eligible for a refund from their respective boards of intermediate and secondary education, since their payments were made before the deadline was formally pushed back. The extension applies to first-year students enrolling in the 2026-2028 academic session across Punjab's examination boards. Students who are yet to submit their admission forms are advised to do so promptly to avoid the additional charge, while those who already paid the late fee should follow up with their respective boards regarding the refund process. As with previous admission cycles, students are encouraged to confirm submission requirements and any further updates directly with their board of intermediate and secondary education.
