The University of Health Sciences has declared the MDCAT 2026 result for Punjab, with 79.43% of candidates qualifying for MBBS and 85.22% qualifying for BDS.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has announced the result of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 for Punjab, four days after the test was held on September 20. Of the 49,202 candidates who registered for the test, 47,475 actually appeared, while 1,727 remained absent. Among those who appeared, 37,708 candidates met the MBBS qualifying threshold of a minimum of 55% marks, giving a success rate of 79.43%. For BDS, where the qualifying threshold is lower at 50% marks, 40,457 candidates qualified, a success rate of 85.22%. Score distribution data shows a wide spread among candidates: 1,772 students, or 3.73% of those who appeared, scored between 170 and 180 marks, placing them among the highest performers. At the other end, 7,018 candidates, or 14.78%, scored 89 marks or below. Students can check their results by visiting the official UHS results portal, selecting the MDCAT 2026 result section, and entering their roll number and name. UHS has advised candidates to carefully verify their personal details and obtained marks once their result is retrieved. The MDCAT result is a key step toward MBBS and BDS admissions in Punjab's public and private medical colleges, with merit lists for individual institutions expected to follow.
