The University of Health Sciences Lahore has announced MDCAT 2026 results, with 37,708 candidates qualifying for MBBS and 40,457 for BDS out of 47,475 test-takers.
The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has announced the results of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, the entry test required for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes at public and private medical colleges in Punjab. The results were declared on September 24, roughly four days after the test was conducted on September 20.
According to the figures released by UHS, a total of 47,475 candidates sat the test. Of these, 37,708 candidates met the qualifying threshold of 55 percent marks required for MBBS admission, giving a qualifying ratio of 79.43 percent. For BDS, where the minimum required score is 50 percent, 40,457 candidates qualified, putting the ratio at 85.22 percent.
UHS also shared a breakdown of the score distribution among test-takers: 1,772 candidates scored between 170 and 180 marks, representing the highest-performing group, while 7,018 candidates scored 89 marks or below.
Candidates can check their individual results on the University of Health Sciences Lahore's official website. The MDCAT result typically feeds directly into the merit lists that public and private medical and dental colleges use for their admission cycles, meaning qualifying candidates should now watch for college-wise merit list announcements in the coming weeks.
