How to get the most from past papers

1. Solve a paper under exam conditions: set a timer for the real duration and attempt the objective part first, then the subjective part.
2. Look at three to five years together. Questions and topics repeat, and the paper pattern tells you how marks are split.
3. Practise with your own board's papers first. Question style differs between boards, and the group (I or II) matters in Punjab boards.
4. Mark your answers against the textbook, note the chapters you lost marks in and revise those first.
5. English papers reward grammar, comprehension and writing: practise letters, applications, essays and translation under a time limit.
